Semantic Markup
The sematic Web, also called Web 3.0, becomes more and more popularity. This means to mark up the HTML with micodata, micro formats and RDFa, to make the content machine-readable. The search engines crawler understands such content and can it interpret and apposite process and display. An employee of e-fork was writing a scientific work of this very interesting topic, which is now only at the beginning.

Usage for Boell.de
As part of the marking up the content of boell.de with HTML5, a part was marked up semantically. For example the calendar of events was tag with the micro format hCalendar. Now there is an Rich Snippet shown through this in the SERP´s. There you can see three event titles and the belonging date of the event.
